trailer for Matthew Barney’s Cremaster Cycle. ever since I read about this in 02 I’ve been obsessed with watching it, except according to Barney it was never to be released on video (a small section of it, called The Order, is available however). when i found out that it was going to be showing at the IFC Center all week I finally found my chance. it was more boring than i thought it would be,but there are chilling moments of absolute beauty and emotional rawness that make watching the cycle at least once worth it.
